Summary The Regional Sales Engineer drives technical sales activity by configuring Varonis for SMB to Enterprise sized account customers looking to improve their security posture. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful progression through each phase of the project lifecycle. Address customer concerns and foster a relationship to ensure a positive deployment experience. *Working West Coast Hours* Responsibilities - Work with sales teams on new business opportunities and upsell activity. - Understand customer requirements and implement the Varonis platform to address business needs. - Present technical information about the Varonis platform and services to customers. - Manage simultaneous projects through the various phases of the evaluation lifecycle. - Address customer concerns and foster a relationship to ensure a positive evaluation experience. - Identify and bridge gaps in product documentation and configuration to improve the deployment experience. Requirements - The ability to discuss highly technical concepts with all audiences ranging from non-technical people to executive level technical decision-makers. - Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows, NAS, and Microsoft 365 environments. - Proficiency with configuration and troubleshooting in a Windows Domain environment. - Ability to manage many different tasks and proactively drive initiatives & opportunities to completion. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a pleasant and professional attitude towards customers and colleagues. - Preferred – BS in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology with additional education in Information Security. - Preferred – Experience with and/or understanding in Cloud based platforms such as Salesforce, Azure Blob, Snowflake, or AWS. - Preferred – Experience with NTFS permissions, least privilege model, data access governance, and data lifecycle management. Role Description We’re seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to help customers securely connect people to technology.
