Job Description
Time & Attendance Implementation Consultant
AllWage
What Does AllWage Do? At AllWage, formerly Agrigistics, we started out helping farmers monitor work and productivity across various teams. We quickly realised that many other businesses in labour-intensive industries struggle with the same problems – tying the specifics of time and attendance, payroll and HR documentation together. Today, we've built the complete ecosystem for solving these problems, and even made it accessible via WhatsApp. We provide employers with an end-to-end solution for managing their workforce, while employees benefit from having all their clocking and payroll data accessible via WhatsApp. We believe that transparency helps eliminate pay confusion, builds mutual trust and ultimately increases employee longevity. We help 300+ businesses in construction, agriculture and manufacturing simplify the way they operate, and we're growing fast. Why should you apply? This is an operational role in a fully remote, fast-growing, profitable start-up. Formal qualifications are less important than your ability to learn and act quickly, operate independently and get ahead of any problems you spot on the job. We discuss company finances and strategy openly with the whole team, so you'll have a front row seat to what it really takes to build a software business. We're also a small team of 16 people, so you'll work closely with individuals in Product, Sales and Marketing and get a good sense of best practices in each of these fields. You'll be joining as the second Implementation Consultant on the team, partnering closely with our existing T&A consultant as we scale. What does our ideal candidate look like? Our ideal candidate balances meticulous attention to detail with a system-wide perspective. They don't just fix the immediate issue; they analyse the entire system to understand why a problem exists and how to prevent it in the future. They are proactive problem-solvers with excellent communication skills, deep client focus, and resilience under pressure. Background - A degree in BEng, BCom or a related field would be useful, but is not required. - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as an implementation consultant or onboarding specialist. - Demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI tools to drive operational efficiency, automate workflows, or solve business problems. - Ability to understand and speak Afrikaans in a business context preferred. Responsibilities - Systems Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve overall time & attendance processes — identifying systemic inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions rather than point fixes. - Custom Solution Design: Use the AllWage platform to design tailor-made configurations for diverse T&A challenges, particularly complex overtime and wage setups. - AI Integration: Leverage AI tools to streamline implementation workflows, accelerate problem-solving, and improve the quality of deliverables. - End-to-End Onboarding: Manage the client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth, efficient and successful transition to our T&A solution. - Client Empowerment & Training: Run training sessions that demystify complex concepts and empower clients across industries to manage their systems effectively. - Knowledge Sharing: Develop and distribute guides and best practices on T&A management to elevate client knowledge and operational efficiency. Critical Competencies - Systems Thinking & Analytical Depth: Strong analytical skills — able to diagnose granular T&A issues and understand how they impact the broader business system. Uses logic, creativity and systems thinking to find lasting solutions. - AI Fluency & Application: Highly adaptable to new technologies. Knows how, when and where to apply AI to reduce manual effort, enhance data analysis and improve client outcomes. - Client-Centric Approach: Puts clients first; seeks to understand and meet their unique needs with empathy and a strong commitment to customer service. - Effective Communication: Clearly articulates ideas and solutions — both verbally and in writing. Excels at translating intricate T&A concepts into language that works for diverse audiences, from corporate executives to farm managers. - Initiative and Proactiveness: A self-starter who anticipates client needs and takes action without needing explicit instructions. - Adaptability and Learning: Embraces change, eager to learn, and actively incorporates feedback for continuous development. - Team Collaboration: Works effectively with the existing T&A Implementation Consultant and the rest of the AllWage team. Able to operate independently in a remote environment. - Resilience and Grit: Tenacity to handle challenging implementations. Remains focused and effective under pressure. Interview process - Initial phone call - Homework assignment - Formal interview - Sim day - Offer & welcome to the team
