• Develop and execute SEO and AEO-driven content strategies aligned with commercial objectives. • Identify high-intent search queries, prompts, and topics relevant to each business division. • Create content designed to rank in both traditional search engines and AI-generated responses. • Write and optimise website landing pages for each division (solids, liquids, consulting, managed services). • Structure content to improve rankings, engagement, and conversion (clear headings, schema-aware formatting, FAQs, etc.). • Continuously update and refine existing content to improve performance. • Create content targeting conversational queries and AI search prompts. • Structure answers in a way that increases likelihood of being surfaced in AI tools. • Build topical authority through clustered content and internal linking strategies. • Produce high-quality blogs, articles, and educational content aligned to industry pain points. • Develop social media content to support brand awareness and distribution. • Translate technical waste services concepts into clear, engaging, and commercially relevant content. • Work across multiple business units, tailoring tone, messaging, and positioning to each division. • Ensure consistency in brand voice while respecting differences between service lines. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to capture technical knowledge and project insights. • Support content creation with basic design assets using Adobe Suite and/or Canva. • Produce simple visual content (social posts, blog graphics, diagrams) to enhance engagement. • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all visual outputs. • Work closely with the Group Marketing Manager to prioritise content initiatives. • Participate in daily check-ins to align on priorities, output, and performance. • Collaborate with sales and operational teams to identify content opportunities tied to real customer demand. • Track content performance (traffic, rankings, engagement, conversions). • Continuously refine content based on data and insights. • Identify gaps in content coverage and proactively propose new opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SEO-focused content writing (B2B preferred).
- Experience writing structured, search-driven content that ranks and converts.
- Exposure to AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) or strong understanding of AI-driven search behaviour.
- Strong ability to write clear, structured, and authoritative content.
- Ability to break down technical or industrial topics into accessible language.
- Keyword research and search intent exposure
- On-page SEO best practices
- Content structuring for search and AI visibility
- Proficiency in Canva is essential.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, highly advantageous.
- Ability to produce clean, on-brand supporting visuals.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress or similar).
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer or equivalents).
- Comfortable working within structured content workflows and shared drives.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple content streams across divisions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
- Able to take direction but also proactively identify opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Confident working with technical stakeholders and extracting information.
