Required Qualifications - 1–3 years of experience in security research, penetration testing, or SAP technical roles (e.g., SAP Basis, ABAP development, or security administration). - Strong foundation in either SAP technologies or offensive security concepts. - Basic understanding of SAP system architecture, including system landscapes, connectivity, and user management. - Familiarity with common security concepts such as vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and system hardening. - Hands-on mindset with demonstrated curiosity (e.g., CTFs, home labs, GitHub projects, or research write-ups). - Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python) or willingness to learn. - Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken. - Ability to work independently while collaborating in a remote team environment. Nice to Have - Exposure to SAP Basis, ABAP, or SAP security concepts. - Familiarity with SAP infrastructure components such as RFC, ICM, Gateway, or SAProuter. - Experience with security tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit). - Understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS). - Participation in CTFs, bug bounty programs, or security research projects. Important Information - This position is remote-first, with a preference for candidates based in the EU. - Visa sponsorship and relocation support are not available. - Candidates must hold valid authorization to work in their country of residence. Our Offer - A unique opportunity to start your career in SAP security research and work on real-world vulnerabilities. - Hands-on mentorship from experienced SAP security researchers. - Access to a dedicated SAP lab environment across multiple systems and technologies. - Opportunities to contribute to research publications, open-source projects, and industry conferences. - A collaborative, international team with a strong focus on learning and growth. - Flexible working hours and a results-oriented, remote-first work culture.
