Role Description An exciting new opportunity for a Compliance and Governance Specialist has arisen here at EnerMech. Reporting to our General Counsel, this is a pivotal role with global reach in the business. You will gain exposure to Senior Leadership within the organisation and have the opportunity to grow within the role, you will also have 2 direct reports to line manage. - Develop and implement Compliance & Corporate Governance policies, ensuring ongoing monitoring and improvement. - Manage third-party due diligence, risk assessments, and compliance reviews for tenders, bids, and pre-qualification processes, safeguarding business integrity at every stage. - Liaise with senior management and coordinate maintaining an Anti-Bribery and Corruption risk assessment, updating policies and introducing new policies. - Review and advise on compliance and governance aspects within agreements, including Joint Venture Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, and contract clauses, ensuring alignment with regulatory and ethical standards. - Act as data protection champion, responding to subject access requests, investigating breach reports. - Maintain and manage essential governance registers. - Conduct compliance investigations. Qualifications - Legal based degree. - Previous experience supporting organisations in their compliance and ethics. - Experience working in Oil, Gas or Energy companies is ideal. - Understanding of main risks associated with the industry. - Proficient in developing and implementing effective compliance programmes. - Confident in leading any required training.
