Business Development Executive

Role Description You will work closely with our Business Development Lead to shape Sage’s commercial motion—helping refine how we enter new markets, accelerate land-and-expand, and structure the sales organization for scale. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role suited for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and relationship-building, and who understands the nuances of selling into senior living. This role will require regular travel to our New York headquarters, customer sites, and industry events up to 50% of the time. Responsibilities - Develop and implement effective sales strategies that drive nationwide growth and support corporate revenue objectives - Represent Sage at major industry conferences and events to identify new business opportunities and deepen ecosystem relationships - Help shape the structure of the sales organization at regional and functional levels as we expand - Take ownership of regional KPIs, providing accurate forecasting and establishing high-performance sales expectations - Drive investments in sales training, enablement tools, and sales operations - Build and nurture professional networks to surface new partnerships and opportunities - Manage sales data and translate insights into actionable recommendations - Support the planning and execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and GTM initiatives - Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure a tightly aligned commercial motion Qualifications - 5+ years of new-logo sales experience with a proven track record of top performance in SaaS - Strong strategy development, project management, and problem-solving skills - Comfortable navigating ambiguity; proactive owner who drives initiatives to completion - Genuine passion for Sage’s mission to improve care for older adults and the caregivers who support them Preferred Qualifications - Experience selling directly to owners and operators within Senior Living - Understanding of how real estate and operations interact in Senior Living, including key value drivers - Experience in value-based care, care delivery innovation, or adjacent healthcare models Benefits - Competitive base compensation along with stock options and a commission tied to 2026 revenue targets (TBD) - Expected annual salary range: $150,000–$175,000 USD depending on experience and interview performance - Fully paid health and dental coverage, plus vision insurance - Premium primary and urgent care memberships, online health providers - Unlimited PTO (“take what you need”) and seven paid holidays - Company-wide winter break - Office lunch, fully stocked snack bar, and an in-office culture with flexibility for remote work
