• In this role, you are responsible for steering and monitoring the controlling of DATAGROUP's core portfolio and for preparing the resulting impacts for management. • You are responsible for maintaining the pricing architecture, price levels and price floors, reviewing project prices and triggering necessary escalation measures. • You translate the pricing strategy and methodology into a pricing tool, perform the initial calibration of parameters, and maintain and continuously update the tool. • Based on internal and external benchmarking, you create, maintain and update the price database. • You establish price adjustment processes and support our market units/subsidiaries in implementing price changes. • You are responsible for the continuous updating and maintenance of the contents of the price-adjustment playbook (e.g., indices, communication, etc.). • You identify commercial implications of contracts and establish appropriate risk management measures. • The general implementation and continuous improvement of the pricing strategy is part of your responsibilities, as is the definition and implementation of pricing processes. • Communicating with and supporting internal and external stakeholders in compiling price information is part of your daily tasks.

Job Requirements

  • You hold a degree in business administration (BWL), economics or business informatics with a focus on controlling and sales/sales controlling, or have an equivalent qualification.
  • You have several years of professional experience in sales, pricing/costing and/or sales controlling and are familiar with project and change management.
  • You have a solid understanding of pricing, sales and risk management concepts and the associated processes.
  • Ideally, you have experience with commercial contract components and possess the necessary understanding of legal frameworks and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of IT and data environments supports you in your daily work.
  • You are proficient with common MS Office products (especially Excel) and ideally also have experience using SAP (FI/CO/MM).
  • Your strong communication skills and assertiveness, combined with good presentation skills, help you build a solid network across units and functions within the group and communicate with leadership on equal terms.
  • Your excellent German skills (C1 level) and business-fluent English, both written and spoken, round off your profile.
