Manager, Platform Growth
Maverick Payments
• Owns the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for embedded payments and marketplace initiatives, from partner onboarding through integration and go-live • Acts as the central point of coordination across Product, Marketing, Business Development, RevOps, and Operations to ensure successful execution of platform initiatives • Manages project plans, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives • Drives alignment across stakeholders, ensuring clarity on scope, responsibilities, and execution milestones • Identifies risks, bottlenecks, and operational gaps, and proactively drives resolution to maintain momentum • Supports execution of partner onboarding and activation, ensuring efficient time-to-live and early success • Partners with RevOps to ensure platform initiatives are tracked, measurable, and integrated into CRM and GTM systems • Builds and improves workflows for onboarding, implementation, and activation to increase efficiency and scalability • Monitors post-launch performance including partner activation, adoption, and early GMV contribution • Identifies drop-off points and collaborates with internal stakeholders to improve adoption and reduce friction • Contributes to development of playbooks, launch frameworks, and documentation to support repeatable execution • Maintains accurate documentation of initiatives, timelines, stakeholder communications, and execution status within internal systems • Represents the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner-facing engagements to support platform initiatives and strengthen ecosystem relationships • Support onsite partner meetings, implementation sessions, and launch readiness reviews as needed • Partner with Marketing and Product to contribute insights for platform-related content, playbooks, and thought leadership tied to embedded payments and marketplace growth • Stay current on industry trends across embedded payments, ISVs, Vsaas and platform ecosystems to inform execution and continuous improvement • Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives, reporting, and cross-functional projects as directed by leadership • Willing and able to travel for partner engagements, internal planning sessions, and industry events (estimated travel: 20–40%)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, or platform-based environments.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects or programs with multiple stakeholders
- Experience supporting implementations, integrations, or partner onboarding workflows
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities
- Experience with embedded payments, ISV ecosystems, Vsaas, or marketplace/franchise models
- Familiarity with CRM and GTM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and working with RevOps teams
- Exposure to partner integrations, API-based products, or platform onboarding processes
- Experience in payments or fintech environments, including complex or high-risk verticals
- Strong program and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to align stakeholders and drive execution without direct authority
- Ability to break down complex initiatives into clear, actionable plans with defined outcomes
- Strong operational mindset with a focus on execution, efficiency, and scalability
- Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear updates, manage expectations, and drive accountability
- Proven ability to identify issues, assess impact, and drive resolution across teams
- Comfortable working at both a detailed execution level and understanding broader business context.
