Job Overview The Customer/Vendor Interface Specialist (CVIS) is responsible for integrating Getinge’s DHS systems into a hospital’s digital health environment, including connectivity to Electronic Health Record Systems and PACS/VNA systems. The CVIS also supports dataflow between Getinge’s DHS systems and 3rd-party platforms. This role is critical for ensuring seamless data exchanges between medical devices, healthcare systems, and external partners while adhering to strict regulatory and compliance standards. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties - Oversee and manage all customer/vendor integration lifecycle aspects, from scoping and requirements gathering to go-live support. - Act as subject matter expert for integrating Getinge’s DHS products into a customer’s HL7-based environment. - Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., IT, R&D, Quality) to ensure seamless data exchange and system compatibility. - Provide system design recommendations to hospital IT departments for optimal DHS product performance. - Work with hospital IT departments to plan, test, and implement DHS server-side integrated products. - Assist with the completion of IT Security Surveys. - Consult with the sales team to advise on matching customer requirements to technical specifications and ensuring quote accuracy. - Ensures adherence to company quality system processes, protocols, and SOPs. - Maintain a high functional knowledge of HL7, DICOM, and other emerging communication technologies such as FHIR. - Maintain thorough documentation of all integration processes, including interface specifications, testing protocols, and system configurations. - Provide feedback about product enhancements or bugs through service and engineering. - Provide top-level support assistance for Getinge’s DHS products as necessary. - Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Management/Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience - Minimum of 5 years experience in HL7 Integration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. - Proven understanding of medical information technology systems. - Must have a valid driver’s license.
