Business Development Representative
Waites Sensor Technologies
• Drive outbound efforts through cold calling, email campaigns, and strategic social outreach to secure meetings for the sales team • Consistently meet quarterly quota attainment to move prospects to scoping stage of the sales process • Qualify leads from target lists and marketing-generated prospects • Research and execute market-specific strategies and outreach plans tailored to target industries and accounts, moving them from first contact to initial appointment • Leverage LinkedIn and other platforms to build connections and nurture relationships • Support administrative and operational sales tasks as needed • Build strong, collaborative relationships with both prospects and internal sales team members • Continuously track toward and exceed defined sales goals • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives
Job Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in customer service or sales is preferred
- Familiarity with basic sales processes and lead qualification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with solid spreadsheet and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and follow through
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Resilience through challenges and rejection, with the grit to stay motivated, adapt, and push forward
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a fast-paced team
- Eagerness to grow, stretch beyond current abilities, take initiative, and actively seek and apply feedback to improve
