The Electrical Resource Team Lead works in a matrix organization to support programs and projects by optimally planning, coordinating, and leading Electrical and Mechatronics Pre-Commissioning resources. This role provides technical and safety leadership, leads all aspects of hiring, training, performance management, and contract labor, and collaborates closely with project and installation leaders to ensure teams are accurately staffed, skilled, and supported. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do In This Role: - Dematic Corp has an immediate need for an Electrical Resources Team Lead who will be responsible for providing the Electrical Resources at the right time to the right project. - Resources include Dematic employees, contract labor, as well as tools and equipment. - This role will entail the operational management of Installation labor across various project sites, ensuring that the workforce is accurately skilled, applied, and motivated to succeed. - The location of this role is flexible, with the capability to travel to customer sites. - Must be willing to travel on short notice and spend up to 50% of the time traveling. This is situational travel dependent on conditions and events. What We Are Looking For: - Electrical Resource Team Leads will collaborate with Project Portfolio Superintendents - Installation Program Managers, other Installation Department resources, and other internal and external partners to provide resources to programs/projects in a matrix organization. - Directly manage team of Electrical Pre-Commissioning Resources - Technicians, Foreman, and Supervisors. This can include Electrical and Mechatronics Pre-Commissioning - Supports the Pre-Commissioning Resources Manager on stretch goals and assignments to support Continuous Improvement activities for the Pre-commissioning and Installation team. - Directly Responsible and accountable for training, mentoring, hiring, and performance evaluations of the Dematic Electrical Pre-Commissioning Team employees. Ensuring adherence to Dematic policies, including disciplinary and other policies, as well as following up with disciplinary actions. - Directly Responsible for working with Temporary Staffing contractors to supplement Dematic project staffing with temps and/or temp-to-hires. Responsible for the qualification and evaluation of contract labor. - Responsible for forecasting staffing and training needs in coordination with the Project Execution team. - Plan, prioritize, and coordinate the staffing needs of multiple large projects in conjunction with the Project Execution team promptly. Must be able to make quick decisions on complex and sophisticated staffing issues and provide follow-through. - Provides technical direction for all installation site personnel to ensure that the site teams are equipped with the skills to perform their duties. - Together with other Pre-commissioning Team Leads, defines technical evaluation of Pre-Commissioning Team resources (Skill Matrix) and defines training needs for each of the resources under his area of responsibility, his direct reports - Working with Dematic Resource Management software for tracking resources, safety training, and labor.· Must be very safety-conscious and provide safety leadership for the resources on their team. - Cares for the people within their scope of responsibility – builds a positive work environment. - Sets future direction and policies for the area of responsibility and measures their success.
