In this role, you’ll design, build, and deploy scalable automation solutions that drive efficiency, reduce manual work, and accelerate innovation across the organization. You’ll work closely with teammates in Information Technology as well as business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and turn them into reliable, AI-driven workflows. From robotic process automation (RPA) to workflow orchestration and generative AI, your work will have a measurable impact in helping to shape Sarnova’s future. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using tools like Python, RPA platforms, and custom scripts - Build game-changing, AI-powered virtual assistants, conversational interfaces, and other generative experiences for both internal and external audiences - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities - Integrate AI/ML models into automation workflows to enable intelligent decision-making and predictive analytics - Develop APIs, Azure Function Apps, and microservices to support scalable, modular automation systems - Monitor performance and troubleshoot solutions to ensure reliability and scalability - Develop documentation, test cases, and operational playbooks to support ongoing maintenance and improvements - Ensure all development activities are in keeping with information security best practices - Stay current with automation trends, AI integration techniques, and emerging tools Skills/Experience Required: - 2+ years of experience in AI development, automation engineering, software development, or related field - Experience with building generative AI tools (leveraging platforms like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, etc.), and successfully integrating them for effective business use - Demonstrated success in designing and deploying automation solutions with RPA tools (Power Automate, UiPath, etc.) or custom automation frameworks - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#) and development tools such as Cursor and Windsurf - Strong understanding and practical experience with leading LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, grok, Claude), including expertise in prompt engineering and advanced techniques for managing LLM context and conversational memory - Experience with databases (Microsoft SQL Server) and data integration concepts - Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices including tools like Azure DevOps - Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills Sarnova is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements - 2–4 years in a technical, automation, or AI-focused role - or a portfolio of hands-on projects demonstrating strong technical capability. - Experience building automations and workflows using tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar orchestration platforms. - Working knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval workflows. - Comfortable connecting systems via APIs, webhooks, and lightweight backend logic to create automated, end-to-end workflows. - Ability to extend no-code tools with JavaScript or Python where needed. - Interest or experience in building AI agents, copilots, or domain-specific assistants that drive real outcomes. - Strong technical problem-solving skills - you enjoy debugging, iterating fast, and finding practical ways to apply emerging technologies. - Self-directed learner who actively explores new AI tools, experiments with them, and shares knowledge with others. - Experience with conversational design, agent frameworks, or orchestration libraries (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) is a plus.

• Design, build, test and implement AI agents using Copilot Studio/Power Platform • Design agent solutions as part of end-to-end workflows, ensuring agents operate cohesively rather than as isolated implementations • Define patterns for multi-agent orchestration, where specialised agents collaborate to deliver outcomes across workflows • Define when to use low-code agent approaches versus engineered solutions • Integrate agents with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, APIs and Azure services • Maintain agent quality, performance, security and compliance • Act as the firm’s Copilot Studio subject matter expert • Establish best practices, patterns and guardrails for agent development • Support troubleshooting, configuration and lifecycle management of agents • Establish reusable patterns for agent composition, enabling consistent behaviour and interoperability across multiple agents • Work with engineers to connect Copilot Studio agents to Azure-hosted services • Support the progression from prototype agents to scalable enterprise solutions • Advise on trade-offs between Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry and custom agent builds • Support the evolution from single-agent solutions to orchestrated, multi-agent architectures integrated across enterprise workflows • Be a go-to expert for AI and agent build questions • Support colleagues building agents through reviews, guidance and problem-solving • Provide expertise on Copilot, Copilot Studio and GitHub Copilot (if required) • Guide teams to design agent solutions that align to broader workflow and experience patterns, avoiding fragmentation and duplication • Deliver training, workshops and hands-on sessions when required • Create practical guidance to improve the quality of agent builds • Support adoption of AI tooling across technical and non-technical users • Ensure agent solutions align with governance, security and Responsible AI principles • Support safe deployment and ongoing management of AI agents.
