Contract Performance Manager – Sourcing
GE Aerospace
• Own overall sourcing strategy and performance for several large, complex supplier contracts in Europe and globally, including make/buy, dual sourcing, risk mitigation, and long-term agreements. • Segment and prioritize suppliers (strategic, critical, transactional) and tailor engagement, governance, and improvement plans using market intelligence, cost modeling, and benchmarking. • Act as primary relationship owner for key suppliers, driving accountability on safety, compliance, quality, delivery, and cost through KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews. • Lead end-to-end commercial ownership of supplier agreements, including RFx strategy, bid evaluation, award recommendations, negotiation, contract closure, and internal approvals. • Use advanced commercial levers (cost recovery, productivity clauses, premiums, rebates, volume commitments) to maximize total value, including cost, income generation, and working capital. • Manage contract and lifecycle performance, tracking bid vs did, leading corrective actions, and overseeing terms, claims, renewals, and re-negotiations in line with GE Aerospace policies and regulations. • Lead cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, Programs) to ensure supplier readiness, resolve issues quickly, and design creative sourcing and commercial solutions that generate mutual value.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or similar education
- Significant experience in Sourcing/Procurement or Supply Chain in an industrial, aerospace, automotive, or similar complex manufacturing environment
- Experience in one or more of the following (beneficial but not mandatory): Commercial Operations, Consulting, Sales and Business Development, Contract Management
