The Opportunity: LG Electronics Alabama is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Specialist III to support global procurement operations and ensure seamless availability of critical materials. This role is responsible for coordinating the overseas sourcing of service parts by collaborating closely with a diverse network of international and domestic suppliers. The successful candidate's efforts will be essential in maintaining reliable inventory levels and fostering strong supplier relationships to meet daily operational demands. This role plays a pivotal part in leading initiatives centered around market and customer analysis, AI-driven demand forecasting, and the implementation of automated procurement systems. By leveraging these advanced technologies, the successful candidate will help streamline processes, empower data-driven business decisions, and ultimately enhance overall customer satisfaction. This position offers a remote work opportunity, allowing the selected candidate to work from a home-based location while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and global partners. Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
