Role Description The Accounts Payable Supervisor is a first-line managerial level supervising the Accounts Payable Customer Service team, Supplier Content Coordinators, Travel & Expense and Disbursements. - Supervises, trains, develops, and motivates Account Payable staff. - Establishes tasks for the team and delegates workload. - Receives guidance and oversight from Manager. - Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. - Assists in compiling and generating IRS Form 1099s. - Maintains strong working relationships with employees, suppliers, and other departments. Qualifications - A bachelor's degree or at least three years’ experience in a similar accounting position in lieu of degree. - Hands-on management approach with ability to train and mentor applying strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Experience generating 1099s and reporting to the IRS is preferred. - Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel with ability to perform VLookups and create pivot tables. - Past supervisory experience preferred but not required. - PeopleSoft experience preferred but not required.
