Description and Requirements Key Responsibilities: Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting - Manage direct tax compliances, including filing corporate income tax returns, tax computations, and advance tax workings. - Prepare and review tax provisioning, deferred tax calculations, and tax disclosures for financial statements. - Handle direct tax assessments, queries, appeals, and responses to tax authorities. - Ensure accurate and timely processing of TDS/TCS compliances, statements, and reconciliations. Transfer Pricing Compliance & Planning 1. Oversee and review end-to-end Transfer Pricing documentation, including Local File, Master File, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) 2. Support transfer pricing, benchmarking, intercompany agreements, and global TP policies. 3. Assist in planning and aligning intercompany transactions with arm's-length principles. 4. Manage TP assessments, audits, and defense strategies International Tax & Cross-Border Advisory - Provide guidance on DTAA applications, withholding tax, PE risk, and global tax developments. - Assist in tax planning for cross-border transactions, repatriations, and intercompany flows. Process & Controls - Implement and strengthen internal controls relating to direct tax compliance. - Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Secretarial) to ensure accurate tax treatment of transactions. - Support tax technology improvements, automation, and ERP-based tax configuration Advisory & Support - Provide day-to-day advisory on direct tax matters - Review contracts, invoices, and cross-border arrangements from a tax standpoint. - Assist in planning and optimizing direct tax positions within legal frameworks Others : 1. Working knowledge of SEZ's would be added advantage - Chartered Accountant (CA) - Minimum 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in tax. - Strong technical knowledge of Income tax . - Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines - Prior experience in Big 4 firms preferred.
