Job Description: Guggenheim Partners is seeking a junior tax professional to join its corporate tax team. The position will be responsible for all aspects of federal tax compliance for the Company’s operating partnerships, c-corporations, and holding company. The position will also include responsibilities around tax planning and assisting with the execution of the Company’s long-term tax strategies. The Tax Analyst/Associate will report to a Tax Manager and will be based in the Chicago office; currently this position is fully remote. Essential Job Functions - Preparation of federal tax return compliance requirements for the firm’s partnership and corporate entities - Preparation of quarterly taxable income estimates - Maintain standardized work paper and tax return organizational system - Manage 3rd party service provider timing and review of their work product - Work on special projects related to complex research issues - Remain current on legislative development and tax planning opportunities - Prepare and maintain documentation for Tax Department compliance related processes Preferred Qualifications - Certified Public Accountant - Completion of a Master’s Degree in Taxation - Asset management/financial services client experience - ASC 740 experience - Information Reporting experience - Strong organization, time management and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and collaboratively - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic Qualifications - Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and; - Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, including partnership tax compliance - Proficient in Excel Salary - Annual base salary between $130,000 to $140,000. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation. • Lead sales effort with financial intermediaries in defined territory • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with financial intermediaries to generate assets • Help educate financial advisors on the benefits of Guggenheim products and services for their clients, through individual or group meeting presentations, including conference calls, branch visits, seminars, conferences, or training sessions • Develop and implement territory business plans to deliver on assigned sales goal • Maintain activity and profile data in the CRM • Keep current and adhere to compliance and regulatory policies specific to licensing requirements, continuing education, and firm-mandated training (license requirements FINRA 7, 63) • Responsible for keeping current on company’s products, initiatives, and marketing campaigns • Manage expense account and allotted budget and file expense reports in a timely manner • Work closely with assigned internal wholesaler to deliver sales goals by identifying and fostering leads generated from referrals, digital ad campaigns and cold calls
• Design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric data platforms • Ensure high availability, security, scalability, and data integrity • Support CI/CD pipelines and enterprise data gateway infrastructure • Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies • Configure, maintain, and support Fabric workspaces and artifacts • Deploy and manage Gateway Infrastructure • Provision and optimize Snowflake environments • Build and maintain YAML-based Azure Pipelines • Analyze and tune queries and proactive performance monitoring • Configure, maintain, and assist in testing disaster recovery plans • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, BI analysts, and architects

• Generate sales of Guggenheim Investments UITs in their territory within the financial intermediary community. • Own sales performance and goals for territory. • Solidify relationships, generate new business with our clients and manage sales efforts within the defined geographic territory. • Work closely with the Divisional Sales Manager to create and implement a sales strategy. • Business Plan Creation – Segmentation, time management, counterpart collaboration, territory management, etc. • Leverage Technology Expense Management.
