Solution Architect – Talent Technology Engineering
Netflix
• Development and implementation of integration solutions between Workday and third-party systems using middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) • Manage the full software development lifecycle for integrations, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance • Write and maintain XSLT, and MVEL expressions to manipulate data and automate business logic within Workday Studio and EIB Integrations • Solve complex integration problems, leveraging existing solutions and developing new code as necessary • Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality integration solutions • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and minimal disruption to operations • Perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and champion operational improvements • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders regarding Workday integration capabilities and best practices • Develop and maintain comprehensive integration documentation, including design specifications, field mappings, test plans, user guides, and architecture diagrams • Stay updated on the latest Workday updates, integration technologies, and industry trends, recommending enhancements to existing integrations • Conduct integration testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity • Adhere to data security and privacy requirements in all integration processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or proven years of experience
- Extensive experience in Workday integration, including hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, Extend, Prism and Workday Web Services
- Knowledge in other Workday modules such as Advanced Compensation, Security, Recruiting is a plus
- Proficiency in middleware platforms such as MuleSoft (preferred) or Dell Boomi
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, and JSON
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of HR business processes, HRIS systems and data workflows
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and across multiple time zones.
