You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our core payroll features. EPG is the claims‑based provider network for EverlyCare and health plan programs affiliated with Everlywell, a leading remote‑based healthcare company. Our mission is to enable access to diagnostic testing, treatment, and professional guidance that empowers individuals to improve their health. Our suite of services enables a broad spectrum of health industry and health plan clients to provide seamless access to diagnostic testing and related care interventions. We are a national physician and advanced practice clinician network with a strong care coordination and patient support team and technology infrastructure. Our model integrates genetic counselors, physicians, and technology to ensure clinically appropriate and compliant genetic testing services. We are seeking physicians within Everly Provider Group to support asynchronous medical necessity review following a completed genetic counseling session. Services rendered under this role will support claims submitted to federal payers. As such, strict adherence to documentation standards, medical necessity criteria, and applicable state and federal regulations is required. Responsibilities - Deliver synchronous telehealth visits (video and/or phone) to patients as part of care programs in partnership with health plans. - Conduct focused, efficient clinical assessments aligned to visit type (e.g., treatment-focused, condition-specific, and preventive/wellness visits). - Interpret diagnostic results (including at-home lab results) and provide clear, actionable recommendations, including treatment, follow-up care, and referrals as appropriate. - Develop and implement evidence-based care plans within scope and in accordance with program protocols and payer requirements. - Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and next steps. - Ensure compliance with state telemedicine regulations, payer guidelines, and internal clinical protocols. - Document all patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Qualifications - MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (required). - Active, unrestricted medical licenses in good standing; licensure in 10+ states highly preferred (priority states: AR, GA, MS, TX, WI, LA, AL). - Medicaid enrollment in multiple states highly preferred; must be in good standing where enrolled. - Must be enrolled in and in good standing with Medicare. - Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, efficient virtual care, including diagnostic interpretation and care planning. - Strong webside manner with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively in a telehealth setting. - 1+ year of telehealth experience preferred. - Comfortable with digital health tools; tech-savvy and adaptable to evolving workflows and protocols. - Maintains compliance with HIPAA and all applicable privacy and security regulations. - Ability to work within structured care models and clinical protocols while exercising sound clinical judgment.
