Network Engineer

VetsEZ

• Design, implement, and maintain the VistA network infrastructure in support of a government IT contract • Interface and collaborate with other technical engineers and cross-functional IT teams to ensure network reliability and performance • Develop, update, and manage network diagrams and related documentation • Present network designs, changes, and status updates to the client and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner • Apply SAFe/Agile principles to plan and deliver network engineering tasks in an iterative environment • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to optimize system uptime and security • Support compliance with government security and operational standards • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer supporting government IT contracts, preferably with VistA systems
  • Strong knowledge of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining network diagrams using industry-standard tools
  • Demonstrated experience working in SAFe/Agile environments
