Job Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in SEO (not just basic VA tasks or content uploading)
- Strong understanding of local SEO, especially Google Business Profile + map pack ranking factors
- Ability to do keyword research and build a clear keyword strategy, not just suggestions
- Keyword research and strategy
- Location-specific landing pages
- Local citations and directory listings
- Competitor analysis
- Backlink outreach
- Technical SEO audit and fixes
- Monthly ranking and performance reporting
- Directing team member on what to implement so the team member executes it
- Experience with on-page SEO implementation and optimization frameworks (titles, headers, internal linking, content structure)
- Ability to conduct competitor analysis and turn insights into action steps
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs or SEMrush
- Understanding of how backlinks work and how to build outreach strategies (not spam links)
- Ability to create clear direction for an implementer (Lois) without micromanaging execution
- Strong analytical thinking (can explain why rankings are or aren’t moving)
- Comfortable owning performance outcomes, not just tasks.
