Job Requirements

  • Payroll management or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficient in using software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet.
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.

Role Overview: As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations across all countries where Goodnotes operates. You will collaborate with payroll vendors and Employer of Record (EOR) partners to manage payroll tickets, adjustments, expenses, and invoicing.In addition to day-to-day payroll activities, you will play a key role in the Workday integration project, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between our payroll processes and Workday. This is a 1-year fixed-term role, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience handling multi-country payroll and systems implementation. This role is a remote position in the UK, though the ideal candidate will hold expertise in Spanish / international payroll operations. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Management - Oversee and process payroll for all employees across multiple countries - Ensure accuracy and compliance with local laws and company policies. - Collaborate with external payroll vendors to run payroll cycles smoothly and on schedule. - Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation - Preparation of annual tax statements Vendor & EOR Management - Liaise with payroll vendors to resolve issues and implement process improvements. - Work closely with Employer of Record (EOR) partners to manage payroll-related tickets and employee queries.
