Recare
• Build the data function for a growing multi-product HealthTech platform • Define the company’s data strategy and strengthen how success is measured across product teams and the broader business • Assess the current setup, work directly with existing analysts, and shape the next stage of the function • Help Recare create a clearer picture of customer acquisition, product performance, and market growth • Connect product usage data to business performance • Turn data into actionable narratives for business reviews and product reviews • Lead a team of analysts, evaluate the current structure, and grow the function over time • Shape how data supports teams across product, finance, RevOps, and marketing • Define the right tooling and infrastructure for the company’s data needs • Collaborate with the AI engineering team on evaluation and quality measurement of AI outputs
Job Requirements
- 8–10 years in data roles, including at least 3 years leading teams
- Career progression from analyst or data scientist into data leadership
- Strong background in product analytics
- Experience instrumenting products, defining meaningful metrics, running experiments, and connecting usage patterns to outcomes
- Experience working across multiple products, not just a single product
- Familiarity with commercial metrics such as ARR, NRR, churn, and expansion, and how product data links to business growth
- Experience building and scaling a data team from a small starting point into a robust data organization
- Sound judgment on hiring priorities, structuring analysts across teams, and deciding when to centralize versus embed
- Strong mentoring, coaching, and development skills for junior and mid-level analysts
- Clear opinions on tooling, including trade-offs between tools such as Looker, Amplitude, Mixpanel, and Metabase
- Startup or scale-up experience, especially in companies going through the $10–50M ARR transition
- Ability to move quickly and make practical decisions without overbuilding
- Comfort working in regulated industries such as healthcare, fintech, insurance, or similar is a plus
- AI literacy, including use of AI tools in day-to-day work and familiarity with LLM evaluation, quality scoring, and how AI products generate and transform data
- Ability to be a credible partner to the AI engineering team without being responsible for building models
- English as a working language; German is a plus but not required
