Role Description Senior Sourcing Specialist – Fully Remote (up to 15% domestic travel) EnergyLink, a Quanta company, is looking for a results-driven Senior Sourcing Specialist to support our Transmission, Substation, and Distribution (T&D) EPC projects. You’ll manage the full sourcing lifecycle—running bids and RFPs, evaluating proposals, and securing cost-effective deals with top vendors. What You'll Do - Lead and manage large material and equipment bids for T&D EPC projects. - Review RFPs and engineering designs to define scope, identify gaps, and document requirements (e.g., MBE/WBE, Buy American). - Validate materials and quantities, prepare and issue bid packages. - Build bidder lists, solicit pre-qualification info, and manage vendor proposals. - Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and present vendor recommendations. - Ensure accurate material estimates and timely project delivery. - Mentor junior and mid-level Sourcing Specialists. - Support special projects and other duties as needed. Qualifications - 3–10+ years in sourcing or procurement for power generation, electric utility, or EPC projects. - Expertise in vendor management, RFPs, tender evaluation, commercial risk analysis, contract review, and pricing negotiations. - Strong knowledge of T&D materials (overhead/underground) and substation equipment (breakers, capacitor banks, etc.). - Experience in EPC project procurement, material sourcing, or estimating preferred. - Established utility vendor/manufacturer relationships a plus. - Self-starter with excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management. - Able to manage multiple projects and collaborate across all organizational levels. - Up to 15% domestic travel may be required. • Leads global procurement strategies for hardware, software and infrastructure across Engineering, Product and other technology teams. • Negotiates hardware, software, and infrastructure deals through knowledge of relevant suppliers and deal structures for Engineering, Product and other technology teams. • Responsible for supply continuity and quality, lead time improvements and savings/ROI targets. • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes needed to meet strategic objectives. • Drives and delivers savings/ROI opportunities aligned with organization commitments. • Develops vendor management strategies to consolidate global vendors and achieve strategic objectives. • Develops, communicates and executes global procurement strategies aligned with best practices and strategic objectives. • Partners with business leaders to execute CapEx and OpEx purchases that meet cost savings and other strategic objectives. • Brainstorms and provides feedback on category planning and best practices in supply and procurement organizations. • Supports key initiatives, such as Source to Pay rollout, Business Intelligence tool optimizations, process efficiencies and spend controls to ensure adherence to best practices and procurement governance. • Ability to inspire and motivate others; engenders support and trust from all levels of the organization. • Demonstrates adaptability for working in diverse, fast-paced environments with significant grey areas and multiple, sometimes competing priorities and objectives. • Makes decisions that support strategic objectives; takes personal accountability for decisions made and gains the support of others. • Collaborates with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure engagement, buy-in and ownership of sourcing strategies.

• Develop business partner relationships with suppliers as well as internal stakeholders. • Lead procurement activities and be the focal point for supplier performance. • Lead Supplier interaction and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to manage a variety of procurements including but not limited to build-to-print, performance specifications, Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), with medium/high complexity. • Participate in capture/proposal efforts, review adequacy of requirements flow-down, generate RFI/RFQ/RFPs, and lead Best Value Source Selection and down select activities. • Develop negotiation strategy and lead multi-functional negotiation teams; negotiate price, schedule, and Terms & Conditions with suppliers/subcontractors. • Prepare purchase order documentation in compliance with FAR and DFARs regulations, prime flow downs, company policies, procedures, and command media. • Execute and manage various types of contractual activities / agreements, such as PIA, Letter Subcontracts, Long Term Agreement, Bailment, etc. • Post award PO / Supplier management to ensure meeting program requirements (quality, schedule, financial, etc.). • Communicate clearly and effectively, be proactive in a very fast paced environment; flexible, creative thinking, work with speed and agility while ensuring compliance to company and government requirements.
