Job Description Summary The Category Manager plays a vital role in advancing GoGo squeeZ's category vision by driving household penetration, increasing consumption, and expanding our retail footprint-all in support of purposeful snacking. This position is responsible for delivering best-in-class assortment and shelving strategies that meet both consumer needs and retailer objectives. Collaborating closely with Sales, Category, and Marketing teams, the Category Manager analyzes performance, identifies growth opportunities, and recommends actionable strategies to achieve measurable success. Success in this role requires balancing multiple high-impact projects with composure and efficiency, adapting seamlessly to shifting priorities and a dynamic workload. By supporting GoGo squeeZ's leadership in the pouch segment and contributing to our ongoing category development, this role strengthens our position as a partner of choice for purposeful snacking at retail. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Category Insights & Recommendations - Build and deliver customer category reviews with actionable recommendations to support both retailer and organizational growth objectives. - Provide compelling, data-driven insights-using robust analysis-to drive GoGo squeeZ's distribution and category leadership across key customers. - Conduct in-depth assortment analyses to inform recommendations, and actively scorecard and monitor category performance, proactively identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement. Strategy, Tools Development & Process Improvement - Develop and commercialize assortment and shelving guidelines, category 101 materials, and new item sell stories, ensuring best practices are implemented. - Create tools and templates that enhance analysis efficiency and continuously improve the team's insight capabilities. - Collaborate across teams to identify process improvements, streamline workflows, and support the adoption of more effective practices. Data Analysis, Reporting & Issue Resolution - Leverage syndicated databases (e.g., Circana, 84.51, Numerator) to generate insights that inform both internal teams and external customer recommendations. - Provide timely, ad-hoc business reporting to address urgent needs and support quick decision-making. - Monitor performance drivers using scorecards, quickly identifying potential issues and leading corrective actions to optimize results. Project Management, Prioritization & Adaptability - Effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities, consistently delivering high-quality work and actionable recommendations-even when under tight deadlines. - Demonstrate strong organizational skills and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Use creativity and a solution-oriented approach to navigate challenges, adapt to changing business needs, and ensure the most pressing priorities are addressed efficiently. Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required, with 3-6 years of category management experience in consumer-packaged goods, preferably working with major food or mass retailers. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, build collaborative relationships, and influence others without authority. - Strong strategic and analytical skills; able to synthesize data from multiple sources and translate insights into clear, visually compelling recommendations. - Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with experience tailoring messages to diverse audiences. - Solid understanding of retail dynamics, shopper behavior, and new product launches. - Highly organized and resourceful, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI) is a plus. Working Conditions Work is performed largely in a home office environment. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns. Up to 20% business travel may be required. Title: Integrated Marketing Communications Media Manager - US Bel Cheese Location: Chicago United States Job Description: Position Overview Bel Brand US is looking for a strategic and hands-on Sr. Manager, Media to lead and evolve our paid media investments across the US Bel Cheese business. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), this role will work directly with our external media and commerce agencies to lead media planning, map consumer journeys, leverage competitive insights and implications, and refine and optimize media plans, including retail media planning to drive performance. This person will also have oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day management of tactical media plans and their proper implementation, working to implement the brand’s overall media strategy in the context of changing marketplace conditions and opportunities. This person will be instrumental in developing and executing smart, effective, and efficient media strategies that drive brand equity, engagement, conversion, and business growth to drive performance across upper- and lower-funnel campaigns for all channels. Key Responsibilities Media Strategy, Planning & Execution - Lead the development of annual media strategies in partnership with the brand, Shopper, and agency teams. - Manage day-to-day relationship with the media agency to ensure seamless execution across all channels (digital, TV, audio, social, search, influencer, programmatic, etc.). - Translate brand strategies into clear media briefs and activation plans aligned to consumer and shopper behaviors. - Partner with eCommerce, the Commerce Marketing Agency, &/or the shopper marketing team to align on joint media strategies for omni-retailer activations (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, etc.). Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Brand Marketing, eCommerce, Shopper Marketing, and the broader IMC team to ensure cohesive and integrated planning across consumer and shopper touchpoints. - Align with Finance and Marketing leadership on A&P planning, budget allocations, pacing, and optimization opportunities. - Collaborate with Sales/Customer teams to connect retailer investment decisions with broader brand priorities. Optimization, Insights & Innovation - Drive a test-and-learn approach to media investment, identifying new partners, platforms, and tactics that unlock performance and efficiency. - Analyze media performance reports and make real-time recommendations to improve effectiveness. - Stay current on media industry trends, platform updates, consumer behavior shifts, and commerce media innovation. - Serve as the internal expert on media and retail media performance measurement, KPIs, and benchmarks. Agency & Vendor Management - Serve as the primary contact for the media agency, holding them accountable to performance, service, and strategy. - Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, or partnerships that enhance media impact. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree a plus. - 7+ years of progressive experience in media strategy, planning, and buying across both brand and performance channels. - Experience working with or managing media agencies. - Strong understanding of omni-channel media mix, including digital, linear, paid social, programmatic, CTV, and commerce media. - Demonstrated success in optimizing A&P investments and applying data-driven decision-making. - Expertise in retailer media platforms (e.g., Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, Kroger Precision Marketing). - Experience working with CPG brands or within a matrixed organization is highly preferred. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in media dashboards, performance tracking, and budget reconciliation. - Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. - Passion for brand building and media innovation. • Manages daily cash receipts, retrieves lockbox deposits and ACH/EFT reports; creates electronic files and performs cash application. • Collaborates with the Treasury group to reconcile the general ledger and bank accounts. • Responsible for deduction research and clearing in a timely manner. • Monitors customer-based websites to obtain deduction and payment documentation. • Utilizes EDI platform to retrieve remittance details and solve invoicing issues. • Prepare and process broker check requests, maintaining files and preventing deductions from occurring by processing check requests timely. • Follow guidelines for proper escalation of unresolved items. • Establish relationships cross-functionally and with Customers / Brokers to maintain a steadfast focus on achieving goals and meeting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. • Provides internal support cross-functionally regarding deals that can be closed or remain open due to unresolved deduction balances. • Monitor customer accounts, identifying past-due payments. • Follow up with customers on past-due invoices via phone and/or email.
