Business Immigration Paralegal

To support this momentum, we are excited to add a Paralegal with deep expertise in business immigration to our team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to work alongside industry-leading professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This specific role calls for a Paralegal with sound experience processing a high volume of PERM Labor Certification cases. As our Business Immigration Paralegal, your key responsibilities will include: - Ensure effective document intake: i.e., review documents for validity and sufficiently analyze immigration status based on documents provided. - Ensure accountability for the drafting and monitoring of PERM casework. - Flag any potential/foreseeable case-related issues with Attorney and/or Senior Case Manager, in a timely manner. - Utilize online immigration case tracking system to monitor case status and activities on a daily basis. - Swiftly draft responses to requests for information from government agencies. - Respond to client communication requests – either via client company representatives or directly with the foreign national. - Prioritize daily workload based on fluctuating client deadlines, while maintaining an appropriate sense of urgency. - Flag any ideas for process improvement to the appropriate Attorney/Case Manager. - Contribute to positive team morale, especially within a remote work environment. To APPLY for this role and be under consideration, you must possess the following: - At least 2-3 full years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal, specifically handling all stages of the PERM Labor Certification process. - Completed bachelor’s degree – highly desirable. - A genuine interest in US immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach. - Experience working with a high volume of active and inactive cases at any one time. - Excellent written + verbal English communication skills, including spelling and grammar. - Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of work. - Experience communicating directly with client company representatives and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements. - Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize caseload. - Strong computer literacy with the ability to adapt to state-of-the-art Envoy case processing software to monitor and record all visa petitions. - Ability to follow due process, templates, and to adapt to evolving innovation within the Firm, and Industry. - Minimum Intermediate level proficiency with MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word). - A friendly, courteous, and respectful demeanor with the ability to work as a member of a close-knit team.
