Department OverviewGlobal compensation team is responsible for global payments, sales support, strategy, design and administration of the worldwide sales compensation program at Motorola Solutions. The team sits within global operations, whose aim is to leverage best practices, data, automation and communication to deliver an outstanding experience to our sales teams and external customers. Job DescriptionResponsibilities include but are not limited to: - You will partner closely with executive sales leadership worldwide, Finance and HR business partner communities, business unit leaders, field teams and sales operations leaders to design and administer our sales compensation program. - You will play a critical role in enhancing our compensation operations. Early initiatives will include developing new tools and reporting capabilities, standardizing our sales support structure, streamlining the payments process and working towards continued alignment of our plans to the company ecosystem strategy - As we make operational enhancements and plan design changes, you will be expected to train and communicate to large audiences of our salesforce across the globe - A successful person in this role will be able to present key sales performance and payment metrics to our sales leaders worldwide while also succinctly summarizing trends underlying the results - Sales support is a large chunk of how we spend our time, delivering support with an emphasis on great "customer" experience is critical to succeed in this role - The role is expected to play a key part in the processing of our sales incentive payments to our sales representatives across the globe - As we continue to expand our product portfolio, we will constantly assess the effectiveness of our plans to help drive growth in key business areas - This role will not immediately manage people but as the business grows, we are seeking someone comfortable with and possessing previous people leadership experiences Basic Requirements - 5+ years of experience in compensation management, consulting, finance, audit, sales operations, business operations, human resources, order management, or related fields - Excellent business acumen; strong strategic planning and analytical skills - Comfortable communicating and presenting to large audiences or senior leaders - Above all else, a hunger and tenacity to learn. It is not critical that you possess prior sales compensation experience. Job Description Primary Function of Position The Digital Solutions Representative (DSR) will focus on the execution of current and future digital strategies. Preferred: - Experience within an insurance carrier or large brokerage. - Background in sales enablement, practice leadership, or partner programs. - Experience supporting a field based or distributed sales organization. The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois): $136,933 - $204,463 per year The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus.
