Responsibilities: - On boarding Coordination: - Lead the virtual on boarding process for new security hires, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee. - Verify necessary documentation (e.g., background checks, licenses, certifications) and ensure compliance with company policies. - Communicate with new hires through phone, email, and video calls to provide a clear, efficient, and welcoming on boarding experience. - Recruitment Support: - Review resumes, assist in screening candidates, and schedule virtual interviews for prospective security staff. - Respond to candidate inquiries and provide information about the company and security roles. - Documentation & Compliance: - Maintain accurate records for new hires in our HR software system. - Track and ensure security staff training, certifications, and licensing are up to date. - Administrative Support: - Answer inquiries from security staff regarding their on boarding status and ensure all new hires are set up for success. - Assist in the preparation of on boarding materials and internal documentation. - Continuous Improvement: - Offer suggestions for improving the on boarding process, ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and internal teams. - Stay updated on HR best practices and compliance requirements related to the security industry. Qualifications: - Experience: - 1+ year of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative roles. Experience in the security industry is a plus, but not required. - Skills: - Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to clearly explain policies and procedures. - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace. - Familiarity with HR software or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a bonus. - Personal Attributes: - Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. - Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, can-do attitude. - Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. - Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
