Senior AI Platform Engineer
Properti
Role Description As a Senior AI Platform Engineer, you'll join our DevOps and Platform squad and take ownership of the systems that make AI work at scale — from the tooling layer down to cloud infrastructure. This is a senior individual contributor role with high ownership. You'll work at the intersection of AI systems, platform engineering, and cloud security — a rare combination that puts you at the core of everything we build. AI Infrastructure - Deploy, operate, and evolve our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server fleet and gateway layer that connects AI models to company systems and data. - Build and maintain the identity and access layer for AI services — defining how agents, users, and systems authenticate and what they can access. - Own reliability, scalability, and incident response for AI infrastructure components. Agent Platform - Build the platform infrastructure for running background AI agents at scale — scheduling, deployment pipelines, lifecycle management, observability, and cost controls. - Define and enforce patterns that let engineering teams ship and operate AI agents safely and efficiently. - Act as the platform owner other engineers build on top of. Platform Engineering - Contribute to and extend shared platform capabilities: CI/CD, secrets management, internal developer tooling, and shared service infrastructure. - Define infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform and SST across the organization. - Package platform capabilities as reusable components, reducing toil for product engineering teams. Cloud Operations & Security - Own the security posture of AWS environments — IAM policies, network segmentation, secrets handling, and least-privilege enforcement. - Implement and maintain observability stacks (logging, metrics, alerting) with a focus on AI workloads. - Drive security best practices across containerized services and cloud-native deployments. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a platform, infrastructure, or DevOps-focused role. - Degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable university. - Fluent English (written and spoken). Strong communication skills, able to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - AI fluency — you use AI actively in your daily work, both as a coding tool and as a subject you understand technically. - Protocol knowledge — solid, working understanding of: MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent-to-Agent), OAuth 2.0 / OIDC. - Identity & Access Management — foundational understanding of IAM concepts: authentication vs. authorization, RBAC, zero-trust principles, secrets management. - Observability — experience building or operating an observability stack (e.g. CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus). - AWS — deep, hands-on experience across compute, networking, and security services. - Infrastructure-as-code — Terraform proficiency; SST experience is a plus. - Containers — strong understanding of containerized architectures (Docker, ECS, EKS, or similar). - Experience operating production systems with real reliability and security requirements. Requirements - Experience building and operating background AI agents — lifecycle management, scheduling, deployment pipelines. - Hands-on work with AI-automated software development architectures (e.g. coding agents, agentic CI/CD, autonomous code review pipelines). - Familiarity with AWS-based data stacks (e.g. S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lake Formation). - Prior experience building or operating MCP server infrastructure. - Internal developer platform or platform-as-a-product experience. Mindset - Senior IC: you drive decisions, write the code, and own outcomes. - You follow the AI ecosystem closely and form opinions about where it's heading. - Collaborative — you'll work closely with engineers and raise the floor for the whole team. Benefits - Exceptional career growth and strong commitment to talent development. - A dynamic, forward-thinking company rooted in entrepreneurial culture with flat hierarchies. - Fully remote with regular in-person gatherings in Istanbul. - Birthday Retreat: complimentary half-day off on your birthday. - Five weeks of paid vacation plus the option for additional unpaid leave.
