IT Project Manager

• Partner with team and department leaders for the delivery of project-based activities • Provide estimates and project charter documentation in support of on-going and new department initiatives • Maintain direct control over project planning • Develop and manage the overall program/project plans and timeline, including key milestones and dependencies, and tracking progress against the plan • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, product management, and security, to develop and execute the migration strategy • Identify and manage project risks and issues, and drive resolution of roadblocks to keep the program on track • Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality, best practices and meet customer requirements • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to key stakeholders and executive leadership, including regular program updates and presentations
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree in related field
- PMP certification is a plus
- 5+ years of experience managing large scale, enterprise-class, software delivery-based projects
- Experience managing teams of 8+ resources within a matrixed environment
- Solid understanding/experience of Project Management tools (Smartsheet is a plus)
- Experience managing projects using the Scrum Agile software development framework
- Preference that you have a general understanding of healthcare payor workflows including claims processing, benefits configuration, member enrollment, correspondence, medical management, and provider contracting
- Strong knowledge of industry business practices and value offerings.
