Job Title: Data Entry Clerk Duration: 5 month temporary position Pay: $15-$16/hr Hours: 8am to 5pm EST Job Description The Data Entry Clerk plays a key role in supporting a system transition by accurately converting, formatting, and migrating documents and procedures into a new platform. This position focuses on precise data entry, consistent document formatting, and reliable upload of information to ensure a smooth and successful implementation. Responsibilities - Convert existing documents into the required formats for input into the new system. - Format documents and procedures to meet established standards and system requirements. - Perform data migration of all relevant documents and procedures into the new platform. - Accurately input, update, and verify data within the system to maintain data integrity. - Upload documents and procedures into the new system following defined workflows. - Review migrated data and documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting. - Collaborate with project team members to resolve data or formatting issues as they arise. - Follow documented processes and guidelines to ensure consistency across all migrated materials. - Maintain organized records of converted and migrated documents for tracking and reference. - Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and care throughout the migration process. Essential Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, to prepare and format documents. - Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Previous experience working from home. - Ability to follow detailed instructions and formatting standards consistently. - Capability to work efficiently with digital documents and file management systems. - Basic understanding of document conversion and upload processes. - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple documents and tasks simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience supporting data migration or system implementation projects is beneficial. - Familiarity with handling and organizing large volumes of documents. - Ability to communicate clearly with team members regarding document or data issues. - Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment.
