Job Description
Proposal Manager
ONEGLOBE LLC
Description We are on the hunt for an assertive, proactive, and highly organized Proposal Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. If juggling multiple priorities while keeping a cool head (and maybe even cracking a smile under pressure) sounds like your kind of challenge, then we should talk. As a key player in our proposal development team, you will lead the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring compliance, strategy alignment, and a compelling final product. Your ability to wrangle SMEs, keep writers on task, and gently (but firmly) nudge leadership for approvals will be essential to success. Flexibility is a strength- we are a dispersed team and need someone who can communicate effectively with a variety of participants. This role requires a soft but firm presence, multi-modal communication, and multitasking— someone who can manage competing priorities without losing sight of the details. And let’s be real: We need someone who understands that “last-minute changes” happen. Key Responsibilities - Lead proposal development from kickoff to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met and compliance is rock solid. - Be able and willing to pick up the pen and support content creation and perform formatting and editing on any effort- RFI, RFP, etc. - Develop and manage proposal schedules, assignments, and reviews with a keen sense of urgency- we are a small group with competing priorities so learning styles and preferences are paramount. - Work closely with capture teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and graphic designers to develop compelling, compliant proposals. - Be the go-to person for "herding cats" (a.k.a. keeping teams on task and on schedule). - Take ownership of content organization, proposal outlines, and compliance. - Manage color team reviews, incorporating feedback without breaking a sweat. - Ensure all proposal components (narratives, past performance, resumes) align seamlessly. - Support process improvement initiatives to enhance proposal efficiency and effectiveness- we follow a mostly Shipley. - Keep a positive, team-focused attitude—even when the pressure is on. Requirements What We’re Looking For - Experience: 5-7 years in federal proposal management, preferably with a small company background - Strong writing and editing background, and expert level MS Office skills. - Highly assertive and proactive- you don’t wait to be told what to do; you see a need and take action. - Excellent multitasker- because proposals don’t happen one at a time. - Strong interpersonal skills- you know how to work with different personalities and keep everyone moving in the same direction. - Attention to detail- because compliance isn’t a suggestion, it’s a requirement. - Cool under pressure- constructive feedback, tight deadlines, and last-minute changes don’t rattle you. - A sense of humor- because proposal life is unpredictable, and sometimes, you just have to laugh. - PMP Certification is a plus - A collaborative, supportive team that values hard work and good energy. - Leadership that appreciates your expertise. - A culture that encourages growth, learning, while embracing a hustle mindset. - The opportunity to work on impactful and mission-critical proposals that make a difference.
