Guardian is seeking a Group Benefits Sales Representative who will be responsible for building and maintaining brokers and plan holder relationships in our Select Market to drive ongoing sales and retention of groups of 2-2,000 lives, with a primary focus on the under 100 lives market. Success will be determined based on the ability to attain high levels of production through broker development and internal relationships. This role will report to the Market Leader within the assigned territory. You Will: - Market, position, and sell Guardian’s entire Group Benefits portfolio products and technology solutions to your designated brokers. This includes Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Absence, and Supplemental Health products. - Support the general wellbeing of the broker and client relationship for the development and growth of Guardian sales and client retention. - Understand territory dynamics to build, develop and maintain broker relationships to grow the book of business while representing Guardian’s vision to inspire well-being. - Be accountable for consistently achieving or exceeding personal sales production expectations by having a clear understanding of products. - Identify, recommend and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to increase sales of product offerings. - Achieve required industry licensing within 90 days of date of hire and maintain license through completing Continuing Education requirements. You Have: - A BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience - Ability to consistently achieve or exceed personal sales production expectations established by management, as stated in the Market business plan that is consistent with Group Profit Center objectives. Location and Travel Requirements: - Successful hire will be based in the Atlanta, GA area - Up to 20% travel within the U.S. Salary Range: $35,000 The salary reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation. This particular role is focused on Abbott’s Amplatzer Congenital offering which encompasses atrial septal defects (ASD), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) and ventricular septal defects (VSD), and patent foramen ovale (PFO). The Clinical Specialist provides clinical and sales support through education of current and potential customers, and procedure coverage with a defined region. In this role, the Clinical Specialist with train interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff and ancillary personnel on the use of Structural Heart products and provide technical support to physicians during procedures. The role is responsible for communicating product, clinical and market data to appropriate personnel and will support the company’s efforts to develop and implement product marketing strategies. This position may be hired at different level, depending on the experience of the candidate. This position may travel in excess of 50%. What You’ll Work On - Collaborate with Territory Managers to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients. - Serve as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of surgical coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products. - Educate customer on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products. Inform customers of the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the industry. - Actively engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions and link data outcome to key messaging. - Meet with existing and potential clients (health care providers) to identify their clinical needs, goals and constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions. - This role requires a strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence a variety of clinician personality types.
