Role Description The Quality Assurance Testers play critical roles in protecting Sarnova’s operational reliability and customer trust. By preventing defects before they reach production, these roles reduce rework and downtime, accelerate delivery cycles, and safeguard data integrity across mission‑critical systems. The Quality Assurance Testers ensure Sarnova’s applications, web platforms, and integrations meet defined business and technical requirements, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, security, and user experience. You will: - Design and execute manual and automated test plans for web and API applications. - Validate functionality, collaborate with developers and product teams, and help maintain quality standards across the software development lifecycle. - Translate business and technical requirements into clear test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria. - Success translates into measurable business outcomes—fewer escaped defects, faster issue resolution, higher user adoption, and smoother releases. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field required. - 2–4 years of QA experience in software/application testing within IT or product teams. - Hands-on experience authoring and executing test plans, test cases, and defect reports. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). - Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST/JSON), basic SQL for data validation, and browser/dev tools for UI validation. - Experience testing of physical IoT products preferred. - Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, Xray, TestRail, Azure Test Plans). - Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; ability to partner across functions. - Experience in healthcare, medical distribution, or regulated environments preferred but not required. Requirements - Execute manual and automated web application test suites; document results, defects, and remediation steps with clarity and completeness. - Identify, triage, and track defects; collaborate with developers and product owners to reproduce issues, set severity/priority, and verify fixes. - Build and maintain basic automated test scripts/frameworks for web UI regression and API testing; recommend automation candidates based on ROI. - Prepare test data; validate environment readiness; support configuration and release validation across dev/test/stage/production. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups; advocate for testability, quality gates, and risk-based testing. - Maintain test artifacts, traceability matrices, and release notes; contribute to QA standards and SOPs. - Track and report key quality indicators (defect density, escaped defects, test coverage, cycle time); recommend improvements. - Coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders; capture feedback and ensure sign-off criteria are met. - Validate adherence to security, data privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA-adjacent considerations where applicable). Benefits - Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. - Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) Plan.
