This position will serve as the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Engineer. It will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of major enhancements, as well as the creation of new solutions to support the ITSM team’s process improvement, user experience enhancement, and automation efforts. The position will work with internal DES customers to identify opportunities for process improvement that will include designing and implementing relevant solutions that meet requirements supporting those business needs. This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the department's needs and continual meetings of expected performance measures. Job Duties - Provides subject matter expertise on the day-to-day operation of the ITSM team's solutions. - Provides strategic support to the ITSM Solutions Architect, including managing, planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating business processes to design and implement relevant solutions that meet established business needs. - Maintains the ITSM Solutions Architecture team's formal documentation to include Development Standards, Processes, Procedures, Standard Work, Design documents and training material. Maintains the team's internal site presence and service catalog. - Creates, maintains, and routinely reviews dashboards, reports, and their associated metric definitions to support ITSM solutions as required. - Works cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes and resolve conflicts within and between projects or functional areas. - Analyzes and solves problems across IT and business services. Develops and ensures implementation of process improvement action plans for strategic initiatives. - Provides overall project monitoring to ensure strategic initiatives are met. - Ensures on a department-wide basis that DES and DTS policies, directives, procedures, and are followed and in compliance with these requirements.
