We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take full ownership of our operational infrastructure. This role is critical in enabling the founders to focus on scaling the brand by building and optimizing the systems that support growth. This is not a maintenance role. this is a build-from-scratch opportunity. You will design, implement, and refine processes across the entire supply chain and operational ecosystem. Responsibilities: - Take full ownership of end-to-end operations including suppliers, logistics, inventory, and compliance - Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, 3PL partners, freight providers, and compliance stakeholders - Manage supplier relationships, including communication, payments, timelines, and capacity planning - Monitor production schedules and proactively address delays or risks - Track defect rates and collaborate with suppliers to improve quality control processes - Build and manage inventory tracking systems - Forecast demand and recommend reorder strategies with appropriate buffer planning - Optimize stock levels to balance availability and cost efficiency - Manage 3PL and freight relationships - Audit invoices and ensure cost accuracy - Coordinate inbound shipments and ensure smooth warehouse operations - Continuously identify opportunities to improve fulfillment efficiency - Coordinate packaging updates with internal and external design teams - Manage operational setup for new SKUs, including production, certifications, and packaging readiness - Track and manage product certifications and regulatory requirements - Maintain organized and up-to-date operational and legal documentation - Ensure compliance issues are proactively addressed - Build scalable SOPs for all repeatable processes - Establish systems that allow future team members to onboard seamlessly - Partner with Customer Service to identify recurring product issues - Feed insights back into supplier relationships and product improvements

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce operations, supply chain, or logistics
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management
  • Experience working with overseas manufacturers (China experience preferred)
  • Proven experience managing 3PLs and freight providers
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build systems, SOPs, and operational frameworks from scratch
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments
  • Proactive, clear communicator who anticipates and solves problems early
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and technology to improve efficiency
  • Background in industrial engineering or product development (nice to have)
  • Experience with consumer hardware or tools (nice to have)
  • Experience coordinating product improvements with overseas suppliers (nice to have)
