CEQUENS is seekin a Junior Test Engineer to support the quality assurance process across web applications and APIs. You’ll work closely with developers and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable software Key Responsibilities - Design, write, and execute test cases and test plans - Perform manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs - Test backend services built with Node.js (RESTful APIs, microservices) - Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira - Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues - Write and maintain automated test scripts - Participate in code reviews and sprint ceremonies (Agile/Scrum) - Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing - Assist in CI/CD pipeline testing processes
Job Requirements
- Good understanfing of software testing principles
- Familiarity with JavaScript and Node.js
- Understanding of API testing (REST, JSON)
- Knowledge of tools like:
- Postman / Insomnia (API testing)
- Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (automation)
- Basic knowledge of version control (Git)
- Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols
