• Own end-to-end product lifecycle for local payment integrations (discovery → requirements → delivery → optimization). • Lead new integrations with ACH, alternative payment methods for African and Asian countries, and other local methods needed for global expansion. • Drive expansion of new product verticals where cryptocurrency can unlock additional value for our clients. • Collaborate with engineering, compliance, risk, operations and commercial teams to ensure viable and compliant product delivery. • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, user needs and regional payment nuances to define product priorities. • Build and maintain strong relationships with external PSPs and payment partners. • Collaborate closely with clients to facilitate the integration of newly launched APMs. • Define product metrics, track performance, and iterate to improve acceptance rate, cost efficiency, and user experience. • Ensure clear documentation, alignment of stakeholders, and smooth internal processes around your product area. • Act as the primary product expert for your domain, supporting commercial and operational teams.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in payments, fintech, crypto or related technical financial products.
  • Strong expertise in local payment method integrations.
  • Extensive experience leading product launches in highly regulated, high-engagement industries.
  • Experience working closely with PSPs, processors, banks or regional payment providers.
  • Solid understanding of compliance, risk, fraud and operational constraints within payments.
  • Ability to translate complex payment flows into clear product requirements.
  • Strong analytical and technical mindset, capable of diving into payment logic, API behaviour and operational dependencies.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ownership mindset, ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

Role Description The Product Manager leads one of Watermark's products or modules, defining a clear product strategy tied to the portfolio vision and driving sustained product growth and success. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: - 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with experience leading internally-facing Platform services in the IAM space at a multi-product company - Technical fluency and comfort engaging in large-scale architectural decisions with engineering - Experience building IAM services.
