Account Manager – Life Safety

K&D Pratt Group Inc.

• Build and grow relationships with organizations that depend on life safety solutions • Develop new business opportunities through company lead follow-ups, industry contacts, tender sites, and market awareness • Manage and grow existing customer relationships, identify opportunities to expand safety solutions and services • Work closely with inside sales and technical teams to deliver accurate and timely quotes • Visit customer sites to understand operational needs and recommend appropriate life safety solutions • Act as the face of our Life Safety offerings to municipalities, industrial operators, and commercial customers • Maintain and manage opportunities, account activity, and pipeline visibility using CRM tools • Stay current on municipal fire codes, industrial safety standards, and regulatory changes affecting customers • Participate in product training, supplier updates, and certification opportunities • Represent K&D Pratt at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings • Travel to customer locations within New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in Fire Fighting industry, industrial, safety, municipal, construction, or technical solution-based sales
  • Demonstrated success developing new business while growing existing customer relationships
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer operations and recommend practical solutions
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline, prioritize opportunities, and maintain accurate activity within CRM systems
  • Comfortable working independently in a territory-based role while collaborating with inside sales and technical teams
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your assigned territory
  • Interest in learning and staying current on Fire Protection equipment, life safety technologies, and regulatory standards
  • Experience in municipal Fire safety equipment, industrial safety, or related industries is considered an asset but not required.

The Account Manager is responsible for running creative and production processes to drive projects from brief to delivery. What you need to be great in this role: - Previous experience working with asset or investment management clients. - Strong track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms. - Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organize and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. - Previous experience of project budget management and scheduling. - Demonstrated experience managing teams that utilize AI creative tools, specifically Pencil. - Be financially conscientious when managing the delivery of a project ensuring all relevant parties are aware of the financial implications of delays, additional amends, and re-briefs. - Identifying areas for potential growth and working with the wider team to bring a solution. - At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $89,250.00 to $99,750.00. In this role, you will be the point of reference for developing and managing partnerships with structure parking operators (garages and areas with automated access) and local administrations in your area of responsibility.
