Partner Manager, Solution Engineering

SailPoint

• Hire, coach, and lead an outstanding Partner Solution Engineering team to deliver against strategic partner objectives. • Manage individual and team performance, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. • Develop and execute a comprehensive technical enablement strategy for partners, improving their skills across the SailPoint portfolio. • Work closely with Partner Management leaders and Regional Sales Directors on partner account planning, strategy, and GTM execution. • Ensure the team provides effective pre-sales support to partners, including discovery, solution scoping, demonstration guidance, and evaluation support. • Act as a key technical escalation point for partners and serve as an advocate for their needs with internal teams, including Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering. • Establish and manage processes for tracking partner technical readiness and success.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or solution engineering management role.
  • 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer in an enterprise software company, with direct experience in channel or partner-facing roles strongly preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the Identity Security market, including solutions, market dynamics, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a technical team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience speaking to both technical and business audiences.
