In this remote role, you will be responsible for managing and administering contracts across construction projects in Australia and New Zealand from award through to final completion. You will oversee tendering processes, subcontractor coordination, contract documentation, progress claims, variations, and compliance with project requirements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations and regulatory standards. Position: Contract Administrator Salary: PHP80,000 - PHP100,000 (flexible for more experienced candidates) Working Hours & Conditions: AU/NZ business hours; Mondays to Fridays, 6:00AM to 3:00PM; full-time (remote) Holidays: Australian/New Zealand Holidays Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end contract administration across construction projects in Australia and New Zealand - Prepare, review, and manage subcontractor agreements and tender documentation - Coordinate and evaluate tender submissions, including preparing tender comparisons and recommendations - Prepare and process progress claims, payment schedules, and subcontractor variations - Monitor contract compliance, milestones, and key project deadlines - Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and filing systems (digital and/or hard copy) - Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery - Assist in scope of works preparation based on drawings, specifications, and budgets - Support resolution of contract-related issues, queries, and disputes

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Must-Haves
  • 1 - 3 years of experience as a Contract Administrator, Contracts Coordinator, or similar role in construction, particularly in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Project Tools: Advanced proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Office Suite: Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Logic: Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade scopes, and financial "take-offs."
  • Communication: Superior written English skills for drafting formal contractual correspondence.
  • Nice to Have
  • Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian Standard (AS) Contracts and fundamental contract law principles, or New Zealand Standard (NZS) contracts and requirements.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Working knowledge of the Security of Payment Act (SOPA) or relevant New Zealand construction payment legislation, and the Building Code of Australia (BCA) or New Zealand Building Code (NZBC).
  • Software: Previous experience with CHEOPS, Aconex, or similar construction ERP systems used in Australia or New Zealand.
