This role is centered on driver recruiting. Overview The Acquisitions Support Specialist provides acquisition and procurement support services to the Department of the Interior (DOI), Indian Affairs (IA) Central Office in support of programs administered by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). Qualifications The Acquisitions Support Specialist must demonstrate qualifications and experience: - Working-level proficiency with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulation (DIAR). - Working-level knowledge of requirements related to the Buy Indian Act and how its mandates are implemented through acquisition strategies and contractual mechanisms. - Experience supporting multiple requirement types, including Construction, A&E, Supplies, and Services—consistent with IA acquisition operations that manage all such categories. - Functional experience using PRISM, the IA contract-writing system, to perform acquisition-specific tasks. - Experience supporting labor-hour, task order–based contracts. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for acquisition documentation. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools.
