The Command Center Software (CCSW) organization specializes in performing software and hardware delivery. The Command Center Software (CCSW) Platform Migration organization focus is on minimizing the customer's downtime during software upgrades in order to optimize their maintenance experience during the moments that matter. Job Description Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the delivery of the Command Center Software (CCSW) HW/SW Platform migration tasks and will act and be recognized as the leader / focal point for all aspects of assigned project(s). Responsible for delivering the contractual scope, on schedule and within budget, while maintaining customer satisfaction. Must be able to utilize PM tools (schedule, critical path analysis, budget, change order, risk assessment, action item log, etc) to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions for any issues related to assigned project(s). The PM is responsible for allocating all necessary resources to meet project objectives, corporate financial, and customer satisfaction goals. The project manager is responsible for direct communication to the customer's organization and relevant senior stakeholders internally throughout the life of the project. In addition, the project manager is responsible for the overall pre-tax profit of all projects. This is a remote position with approximately 50% travel. Qualified candidates can reside anywhere in the US. Candidates must reside in close proximity to a major airport due to travel expectations. Key Responsibilities: - A project manager is accountable for accomplishing the stated project objectives within the stipulated time period and budget. Ensures that the three constraints (quality, cost and time) that face every project are properly managed. - Leads programs or portions of very complex programs. Directs and coordinates the work activities of the project team. - Demonstrates a firm understanding of all nine areas of PMBOK project management and has expertise in two areas. Experienced in running project phases. Is able to oversee development of the complete project plan. Is able to establish, track, and audit project budgets, analyze variances and develop action plans as required. - Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role. - Involved in the management of project staff including project reporting, administration and communication. - Responsible for project planning, setting deliverable dates, and tracking those deliverables. - Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. - Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. - Work with the Scheduling team and Engineering Management team to ensure resource availability and allocation. Those resources could be System Technologists, Field Service Organization resources, and/or Motorola Service Shop resources. - Develop a project plan to monitor and track progress. - Manage and communicate changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs. - Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. - Report and escalate to management as needed. - Successfully manage the relationships of all project resources. - Identify and communicate defects, via the applicable process, that is found in build of material, part numbers, and software versions to appropriate product planners to solve quality and reliability issues that impact upgrades. - Support and help drive project close-out tasks, ensuring a successful project upgrade. - Lead and drive efficiency by using the tools that help drive Project Management best practices. - Look for ways to continuously improve Project Management efficiencies, and drive those efficiencies - Aggressive/Creative problem solving skill; ability to get things done in a multi-organizational environment - Must be able to travel to customer locations for on-site upgrades - Strong knowledge of Motorola Solutions Astro 25 Public Safety systems, is a plus - Collaborate with other resource managers on the team to plan project deliverables - Leading the project's discussions. - Builds and maintains positive, effective, and mutually beneficial-working alliances with customers - Tailoring and applying change management. Requires working with the customer and engineering teams when implementing solutions, including third-party applications. - Drive process improvement and best practices Qualifications: - BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience in project/program management or services management - PMP highly desired; CAPM or PM Masters Certificate is a plus. - Understanding of Motorola Solutions software organization and deployment of those software solutions; Experience with Public Safety communications, Military communications, Civil construction, or IT Networks. - Must be able to obtain necessary security clearance as required by local, state, and federal government contracts, which include criminal and financial background investigations. - Experience leading highly complex projects - Excellent presentation skills are required. - Ability to apply critical thinking skills to make decisions, troubleshoot issues, identify mitigation strategies and exercise good judgment in the selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions - Ability to work collaboratively with all team members - Ability to effectively communicate with relevant peer and senior stakeholders - Strong verbal and written skills; fluency in English. - Proficient in Google Suite; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) is a plus. - Strong aggressive/creative problem-solving, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills. - This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers. POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Facilities Project Manager is a key operational leader responsible for the oversight and execution of all facilities-related functions across a designated geographic portfolio of self-storage properties. This role ensures that all sites are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance, in alignment with company policies and strategic objectives. The Regional Facilities Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the Regional Directors, store teams, vendors, and the Facility Maintenance Manager, driving operational excellence through proactive maintenance, vendor management, and capital project support. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the coordination and resolution of all routine and emergency repair and maintenance (R&M), CapEx, and Insurance activities across assigned locations. - Manage the full lifecycle of work orders within FacilIQ (or the selected management platform), ensuring timely vendor engagement, execution, and closure. - Conduct comprehensive property inspections to identify and address facility deficiencies before they impact operations. - Collaborate with store teams and Regional Directors to assess, prioritize, and resolve maintenance needs in a timely and cost-effective manner. - Identify, vet, and onboard new local vendors as needed to support operational demands and geographic coverage. - Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to service level agreements, quality standards, and budgetary guidelines. - Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for critical infrastructure, including, but not limited to, HVAC systems, access gates, roofing, doors, and landscaping. - Provide detailed reporting and analysis on maintenance trends, cost drivers, and vendor performance metrics. - Support the planning and execution of capital improvement initiatives under the direction of the Facility Director. - Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and internal operational policies. - Manage property signage or other property facilities-related assignments, as requested. - Maintain consistent and professional communication with store teams, Regional Directors, and senior leadership regarding facility status and strategic updates. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: - This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but requires strong coordination and leadership in managing external vendors and supporting on-site store personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
