Job Summary: We are seeking a Director's Assistant to support multiple filmmakers working on unannounced animated CG feature films. Reporting to the Director of Development Production, the Director's Assistant will manage the day-to-day needs of the Directors and Producers on these films in development and support their production needs on an as-needed basis. What You’ll Do: - Maintain calendars for Directors and Producers in Development, scheduling and coordinating meetings at their request - Coordinate travel as needed - Create and process expense reports as needed - Generate and distribute production documents and scripts as needed, including printouts or photocopies - Assist with preparing conference rooms for creative reviews, organizing and gathering physical materials as needed - Provide coverage of meetings by taking detailed notes, for the benefit of the Director/Producer. - Elevate any concerns on the Producer or Director's well-being or scheduling to NAS Development Executives - Ensure that Producer and Director have the materials needed to complete their work - Collaborate with grace, humility, inclusion, and open-mindedness - Other duties as assigned by the Producer and Director What You’ll Need: - 1+ years experience preferred as a Producer's Assistant, Production Assistant, internship experience in animation production, or related experience - Knowledge of CG animation processes preferred - Organized, detail-oriented, ability to multitask, strong desire to learn, interested in people, and have excellent verbal, written, and e-social communication skills - Comfort level working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with the ability to manage time and balance priorities - Experienced in Google Suite (preferred) and/or Microsoft Office - Knowledge of asset and shot tracking systems, preferably ShotGrid, a plus - Familiarity of Photoshop, Adobe Suite, and Final Draft a plus - Proactive, positive thinker with a willingness to offer assistance with any task large or small, to contribute to a well-functioning and motivated team Location: This role is based out of the Burbank office. Hybrid Role (Minimum requirement of 4 days a week in the office). At NAS, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your compensation. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, location, skills, and experience. The overall market range for this role is typically $68,000-76,000/year. This reflects total compensation; we do not have bonuses.
