Role Description Leads the strategy, growth, and profitability of the stainless-steel bar product portfolio, transforming traditional stainless offerings into differentiated, value-added solutions. Company car included. - Develop and maintain deep product expertise in assigned product(s) / product line(s). - Function as internal product expert for both purchasing and sales activities. - In conjunction with Outside Sales, contact new and existing customers to discuss how their needs could be met by specific products. - Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers’ needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations. - Assist customers in making product selections based on customers’ needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations. - Develop Sales/Marketing Plan for their respective product line and monitor results. - Responsible for quoting and supporting sales contracts. Convert Purchase Requisitions to purchase orders. - Provide product training / education to sales teams to enhance their ability to market the product. - Manage supply chain to schedule material to meet stated inventory objectives. - Review and process Return Purchase Orders, Credits and Debits upon request. - Have an understanding of the supply base including contact and general costing information. - Establish supplier relationships with both inside and outside sales contacts. - Prepare supplier reviews. - Establish and maintain positive relationships with external firms that manufacture, distribute, or represent the organization’s products. - Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the organization’s sales force (field and inside sales) to achieve established sales and profit goals. - Utilize SAP Replenishment systems (YAMDDISP, YAMDUDEC) to manage standard inventory items (SAP users only). Qualifications - Extensive sales/business development experience, product knowledge and expertise. - Extensive industry knowledge. - BA/BS required in Procurement or Business related field; Continuing professional development. - Minimum 10 years experience in sales and management roles. Requirements - MBA (Preferred). - SAP experience (SAP Business Units only) (Preferred).
