Role Description ADM is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support DevSecOps enterprise initiatives by partnering with senior IT leadership, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to drive requirements definition and solution delivery. The Business Analyst will help lead stakeholder engagement and requirements elicitation efforts, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications. This includes developing user stories, acceptance criteria, and use case narratives to support system design and implementation. The role also involves performing systems analysis, identifying process improvement opportunities, and contributing to solution recommendations aligned with mission and operational goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions, support the development and maintenance of project schedules, and produce high-quality status reporting and documentation. The Business Analyst will also assist in estimating business analysis activities and deliverables, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and effective planning throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities - Plan out business analysis efforts, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and elicitation techniques. - Facilitate requirements meetings, interview sessions, brainstorming, documentation analysis, and other techniques as necessary. - Support customer meetings to understand current client business practices and business needs supporting requirements analysis. - Ensure that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards. - Understand, extract and document user requirements from existing systems, including interactions and interfaces, to support user experience. - Validate requirements with business stakeholders and team members. - Collaborate with stakeholders and team members regarding requirements development and translation into software specifications. - Support traceability efforts from high-level business needs through functional validation. - Lead/participate in requirements prioritization and product backlog grooming sessions. - Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions and dependencies required to develop or modify applications. - Manage changes to baselined requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools. - Coordinate the stage gate review process including assembling document packages and working with team members to complete required documentation. - Work closely with engineers to ensure all requirements are understood and have corresponding test scripts. - Manage documentation for multiple applications and releases across more than one development team while meeting deadlines. - Compile SOPs and other related documentation. - Assist the Project Manager in compiling weekly and monthly status reports. - Produce meeting minutes. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree is preferred. - 3+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst. - Green Card holder or US citizen, must be able to qualify for Public Trust clearance. - Proficient in Microsoft Office tools. - Motivated self-starter and quick learner.
