Senior Legal Counsel

Bounteous

• Own the end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements across digital transformation, cloud, data, and AI engagements, managing a high volume of contracts while driving deals to efficient close • Partner closely with Commercial Finance and business stakeholders to analyze contract terms, identify risk, and deliver pragmatic, revenue-aligned solutions • Build and scale the operational infrastructure of the legal function, including development of playbooks, templates, clause libraries, and negotiation frameworks • Design and continuously improve legal workflows, intake processes, and reporting to support a high-throughput, global contracting environment • Support the implementation and optimization of CLM systems and AI-enabled legal tools, including smart redlining, document analytics, obligation management, and Salesforce integration, leveraging technology to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency • Identify and execute opportunities to automate manual work and increase efficiency across contracting and legal operations • Work directly with the General Counsel on day-to-day legal matters, operating with high ownership in a lean, fast-paced environment • Coordinate with a distributed global legal team to ensure alignment on standards, workflows, and delivery • Provide broader commercial legal support across IP, privacy, employment, and vendor-related matters, using sound judgment and external counsel where appropriate. Support management of active litigation matters, contribute to the company’s privacy program, and collaborate with the compliance function on U.S. regulatory matters.

Job Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 4–8 years of commercial contracting experience, ideally including in-house experience within a technology services, consulting, or digital agency environment
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills across technology services agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, and vendor contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and driving deals to closure
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on building scalable systems, improving workflows, and increasing operational efficiency
  • Experience with or strong interest in legal operations, including CLM systems, contract automation, and process design
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI and legal technology, not just willingness to use these tools but active interest in pushing what’s possible in contract review, redlining, automation, and legal research
  • A self-starter and problem solver who can work independently in a fast-paced environment with high ownership and minimal oversight, and who thrives when things are evolving quickly
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across a distributed global team and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with digital, cloud, data, or AI-related agreements, as well as exposure to data privacy, litigation management, and IP considerations.
