Drawing upon an extensive knowledge base, we develop, finance, engineer, build, own, and operate high quality utility-scale photovoltaic projects and battery energy storage projects. Our Asset Management team is looking for a talented Asset Integration Manager to help support the efforts of our fast-growing company. Adapture Renewables is owned by KIRKBI Climate – the private holding and investment company of the Kirk Kristiansen family founded to build a sustainable future for the LEGO® brand through generations. Overview This position will work in our Asset Management team and be material to the successful onboarding of new utility-scale renewable energy projects. This role will work across multiple functions of the business, including but not limited to Development, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, and Asset Management to ensure that requirements for successful operations are tracked, managed, and ultimately achieved. The Asset Integration Manager will be responsible for ensuring new assets are capable of operating at peak performance, from day one. The candidate may be based remotely in the U.S., with periodic travel to our Bay Area home office and other company locations. Core Responsibilities - Ensure that commercial and compliance tasks for new assets are managed as to not jeopardize target CODs and ensure efficient entry into operations. - Contribute to the continued improvement of asset onboarding and handover procedures with the aim of efficiency, timeliness, and operational performance. - Track all pre-COD obligations related to PPAs, IAs, and other non-EPC agreements and work cross-functionally to ensure completion. - Establish population of required operational contracts (O&M, scheduling, optimization, environmental monitoring, etc) for each new asset and work cross-functionally to ensure execution timing aligns with project schedule and operational needs. - Work closely with the EPC team to support project timing with an emphasis on quality. - Communicate closely with other departments to bring substantive issues to light that may jeopardize asset performance or onboarding timing and require focused attention or supplemental reporting. - Manage relationships with key stakeholders and serve as the point of contact for project commercial counterparties through COD and into operations. - Support pre-COD and early operations regulatory compliance needs for new assets. Qualifications and Experience - Minimum of 5 years of prior renewable energy experience with an emphasis on asset onboarding. - Strong ability to handle multiple projects at once and effectively prioritize. - Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word. - Experience in Business Development, EPC, Asset Management, and/or Operations & Maintenance. - Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, contractors, regulatory agencies, and regional utilities. - Skilled in project management and leading without direct-line authority. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. - An ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads is important.
