Metallurgy and Process Design Manager
Turner Mining Group
We are seeking a Manager of Metallurgy and Process Design to lead strategic metallurgical initiatives across growth projects, operational support, and corporate programs. This role provides technical leadership, project oversight, and mentorship while driving best practices in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy. Key Responsibilities - Lead strategic metallurgical projects including planning, evaluation, and execution - Provide technical guidance on mineral processing, leaching, and geo-metallurgical modeling - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project development and delivery - Support reserve reporting and related technical functions as required - Develop cost analyses, project scopes, and resource plans - Prepare and present updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders - Mentor technical teams and support talent development initiatives - Contribute to technical publications, patents, and industry engagement Qualifications Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - 10+ years of experience in mineral processing and leaching operations - 5+ years of experience in operational roles (leadership preferred) - 3+ years supporting technical projects within mining/engineering environments - Strong expertise in: - Geo-metallurgical testing and data interpretation - Regression analysis, modeling, and simulation tools - Processing of large porphyry copper deposits - Proven ability to drive change and improve plant performance - Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills Preferred: - Experience across multiple metallurgical disciplines (crushing, grinding, flotation, SX/EW, etc.) - Background in plant operations or technical support leadership - MBA or experience with financial/economic evaluations - Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects - Strong communication and leadership skills Compensation & Benefits - Salary Range: $138,000 – $193,000 (base) - Eligible for performance-based bonus and long-term incentives - Comprehensive benefits package including: - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - 401(k) with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Tuition assistance - Life and disability insurance Additional Information - Remote work available from most U.S. states (some exclusions apply) - Travel (domestic and international) required - Relocation support may be provided if the role transitions to onsite Compliance Requirements - Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship - Pre-employment drug testing may be required in accordance with applicable laws - Equal Opportunity Employer
