We’re hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the finance operations of a multi-site UK-based hotel group. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, process-driven, and experienced in high-volume AP environments who thrives in a structured yet fast-paced setting. Role Summary: As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will manage end-to-end AP processes across multiple hotel entities, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, payment execution, and supplier coordination. You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with UK finance standards. Key Responsibilities: • Process high volumes of supplier invoices using Sage Online • Match invoices to purchase orders (via Purchase Warrior where applicable) • Manage approval workflows and ensure timely payment processing • Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs • Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Handle supplier inquiries professionally and efficiently • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple hotel entities • Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reporting Must-Have Qualifications: • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role • Mandatory experience with Sage Online • Hospitality industry experience is required • Strong understanding of UK finance processes and standards • High attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with Purchase Warrior or similar procurement systems • Background in multi-entity or multi-site finance environments • Experience in BPO or shared services finance teams • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems Reporting Line and Working Pattern: • Reports to: Finance Manager / Head of Finance • Fully remote, Philippines-based role • Must have overlap with EST working hours Why You’ll Love This Role: • Work with an established UK-based hospitality group managing multiple hotel properties • Be part of a structured and process-driven finance team • Enjoy remote work flexibility with international exposure • Opportunity to grow within a scalable and high-demand finance function About magentIQ At magentIQ, we value diversity, innovation, and continuous growth.
